An Introduction of Sorts

Hello all that might be reading this. My name is Brian Butcher. I am a college drop out. The school that I attended was called Marshall University, which some of you may know from the sort of recent film "We Are Marshall". History was my major during the time that I attended this university. I live in West Virginia and I enjoy it for the most part. Currently my schooling situation is this, I want to go back to school but my credit rating is so abhorrent that I cannot get a loan at this point in time, nor can I find someone to cosign for me. My dream is to go back to school for journalism and eventually be a writer in some capacity.

In the meantime I am always looking to learn more and I want to start a website or at least know a great deal more about web design than I currently do. I found this website through stumbleupon.com and so far it appears that it will prove extremely useful to me in achieving the things that I wish to in the time that I have on my hands while not in school. This is an incredibly interesting idea and I cannot wait to see where this takes me in my education.

A little more just about me, I am a musician, love to cook, am currently working on an independent film with my screenwriter friend, and I love just about anything to do with nerd culture comic books, video games, movies, music, computers, and politics. Hopefully new people will be met through this and much education will be had.
